What a start to the year!
The Gold Coast has seen record visitation numbers for the start of 2023 with new Tourism Research Australia data revealing more than 4.2 million visitors have chosen to holiday in the city.

Their festivals and supported events have played a significant role in attracting visitors to the Gold Coast from all corners of the globe. From the pulsating beats of music festivals to the electrifying energy of cultural and sporting events, the Gold Coast has become the go-to city for unforgettable experiences.
The team at Risk Intelligence is supporting MEGC with the provision of a range of services in the lead up to and during the festival including Strategic and Operational Risk, Safety and Emergency Management, review and certification of Security, Medical and Hostile Vehicle Plans, provision of safety officers and Chief Warden, suppliers prequalification and worker induction as well as coordination of the Event Control Centre. We’ve already supported Blues on Broadbeach and Cooly Rocks On…and that’s just the beginning with more events later in the year.
